History of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company in the passages of “Ganjlik” metro station
Baku Metro will host another important social activity.
This is a social project of high historical importance, which will be realized with the co-organization of CJSC “Baku” Metro and CJSC Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company.
This year Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company marks its 160th anniversary. On the occasion of this remarkable history, a photo exposition will be organized in the passages of Ganjlik metro station. Furthermore, metro passengers who use Ganjlik station – residents and guests of Baku city, as well as all who show interest in this topic, will gain a unique opportunity to make a virtual journey to the history of development of the shipping in the Caspian Sea.
In total, an exposition containing over 90 photos, which demonstrate the history of shipping in Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea and cover different periods of history will be open for public for several months beginning from September 10.
