43 Passengers Were Sent to Kazakhstan on the Ship Professor Gul

35 citizens of Kazakhstan, 7 citizens of Azerbaijan and 1 citizen of Russia with a residence permit in Kazakhstan were sent to Kazakhstan by sea. All of them stayed in Azerbaijan because of the closure of borders due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In connection with the easing of the quarantine regime and on the basis of an agreement between the two countries, on May 19 at 22:30 the passengers departed on board of the Professor Gul ferry vessel of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC from the port of Baku, located in the village of Alyat, to the port of Kurik.

Before departure, all passengers passed the coronavirus test. All of them tested negative. ASCO covered the costs of passenger testing.
