The restrictions are imposed in connection with coronavirus. As a result of negotiations held between the relevant structures of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, ferry transportation of passengers and trucks along with wagons to Kazakhstan was allowed. However, the ban on the carriage of cars remains in force. At the same time, it is not allowed to transport all vehicles related to Iran, as well as Iranian citizens on ASCO ships to the Kazakhstan ports of Aktau and Kurik. ASCO informs passengers and entrepreneurs who want to transport goods that the sale of tickets resumed. At the moment, the ferry ship Professor Gul, owned by ASCO, is in the port of Alat for loading. After completion of loading and clearance procedures, the ship will leave for the port of Kurik.
