In this regard, Kazakhstan informed the Caspian shipping companies, including Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO). According to the decision, the entry of passengers, drivers, conductors of wagons and wheeled vehicles was postponed sine die. However, ferry transportation of wagons will continue. It should be noted that ASCO carries out anti-epidemic preventive measures in connection with coronavirus. The Company strengthened disinfection works regularly carried out on its ships and administrative buildings. As part of preventive measures, ferry vessels (13 ferries, 2 Ro-Ro), sailing in the directions of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, were equipped with such protective equipment as gloves, respirators, goggles, overalls, and devices for measuring temperature at a distance.
