Following the rules, scholarships will be given to students studying both at the expense of the state and on a paid basis. The appointment of these scholarships does not restrict students from receiving state scholarships as well. One of the strategic objectives of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC is the training of professional young personnel. To this end, ASCO, at the expense of internal resources, conducts ongoing trainings with the invitation of world-famous experienced sailors, as well as implements special projects for organizing internships for young employees in large companies specializing in seafaring. In addition, to ensure development complying with international standards and improve professionalism, the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy provides students with the opportunity to study on ASCO ships sailing in external waters. This is a clear example demonstrating that in the formation of personnel potential the company gives preference to young sailors who have studied in accordance with international standards. Starting from the academic year 2019-2020, full-time students of the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy and the Maritime College operating within the Academy, and showing good results in their education, will receive a scholarship from the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company.
