ASCO’s cargo transportation volume increased in January 2025

The volume of cargo transported by ASCO vessels increased in January 2025. Statistics show growth in all segments compared to January 2024.

The most notable growth was recorded in dry cargo transportation. While 60,196 tons of dry cargo were transported in January 2024, this figure rose to 180,506 tons in January 2025, marking an increase of 200.65%.

A positive trend was also recorded in tanker transportation. In January 2024, 328,533 tons of cargo were transported, reaching 359,362 tons in the same period of 2025, reflecting a 9.38% growth.

Wagon transportation also saw a 2.76% increase. In January 2024, 2,688 wagons were transported, whereas in January 2025, this number rose to 2,762.

A notable increase was also observed in TIR transportation. In January 2024, 2,980 TIR trucks were transported, while in the same period of 2025, this figure reached 4,139, representing a 38.88% increase.
