ASCO’s film “Born on January 20” dubbed into english using artificial intelligence - VİDEO
Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) CJSC has presented the artistic-documentary film "Born on January 20" dedicated to the heroism of Azerbaijani seafarers during Black January in 1990, in English.
The film’s dubbing was entirely carried out using artificial intelligence technology. Various algorithms were applied to preserve the original voices of the actors, ensuring their tone, rhythm, and emotions were fully retained.
The primary goal of the project is to convey the historical truths of Black January, the spirit of struggle and heroism of the Azerbaijani people, and the bravery of Azerbaijani seafarers to the global audience, particularly to English-speaking viewers.
It should be noted that this is ASCO’s first project utilizing artificial intelligence for dubbing purposes.
Additionally, the artistic-documentary film ‘Born on January 20’ was produced upon ASCO’s request and premiered in 2023. The film’s screenplay, directed by the Honored Art Worker Elkhan Jafarov, was based on archival documents uncovered through historical research, as well as facts shared by witnesses and experts.
