It has successfully completed its maiden voyage to Colombia and Ecuador. Currently, “Murovdag” is heading towards the port of Tocopilla in Chile. The vessel will load fertilizers and ammonium nitrate into its holds and then set sail for the port of Salvador in Brazil. It should be noted that this dry cargo vessel, like the first “Handysize” vessel operated by ASCO — “Khojaly,” commissioned in May 2024, has a carrying capacity (deadweight) of approximately 38,000 tons. The vessel is 179.9 meters long, 30 meters wide, with a hull height of 15 meters and a draft of 10.47 meters. Its maximum speed is 15.7 knots, and its optimized draft design allows it to easily enter shallow ports. Built in 2020 in Japan, “Murovdag” meets international environmental standards, stands out for its fuel efficiency, and is equipped with advanced safety systems.
