Specifically, during this period, 0.414 tons of paper, 0.414 tons of plastic, 558.75 tons of ferrous metal, and 0.9 tons of non-ferrous metal were sent for recycling. According to the results of January-September 2024, 74.31 m³ of plastic, 653.99 m³ of food waste, 625.14 m³ of household waste (paper-cardboard, fabric, glass, metal, etc.), 108.88 m³ of operational waste, 132.1 m³ of oil residue/sludge, 3452.2 m³ of bilge water, and 67,721.9 m³ of domestic wastewater were transferred from ASCO ships under contractual agreements to certified organizations with experienced specialists and technical resources, ensuring their removal from the area. During this period, 21.2 tons of burned molding sand, 1131.34 tons of abrasive waste (rust, paint, gravel, and sand mixture from ship hulls), 61,386 tons of domestic wastewater, 757.2 tons of oily bilge water, 176.4 tons of lubricating oil, 3395.74 m³ of household waste (paper-cardboard, wood, fabric, glass, metal, bottles, etc.), 643.66 m³ of food waste, 352.75 m³ of polymer-based and plastic waste, 65.7 m³ of oily and petroleum waste, 191.41 m³ of rubber waste, 289.05 m³ of operational waste, and 0.059 m³ of medical waste were transferred from ASCO’s onshore facilities to relevant destinations. It should be noted that ASCO consistently prioritizes minimizing the environmental impact of liquid and solid waste generated from the operation of ships and onshore facilities on water sources, soil layers, and air. Preventive measures are taken during operations to avoid any harm to the environment.
