ASCO held "Safety Day" event
"Safety Day" dedicated to the results of the second quarter of 2024 was held at “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company” CJSC (ASCO).
At the event, which was attended by representatives of all ASCO structures, Rustam Agayev, Head of the QSHE Department, made a presentation. He described in detail the shortcomings in the field of safety, labor protection, fire safety and ecology noted by ASCO during the quarter.
Nigar Baghirova, Leading Emissions Management Specialist of the QHSE Department, spoke about the work done by ASCO in the direction of environmental protection, as well as projects that will be implemented within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World".
Later participants were informed about the identified defects, as well as the work carried out along ASCO structures during the reporting period.
ASCO Chairman of the Management Board Rauf Veliyev in his speech noted that each event related to occupational safety at work is of particular importance. He stated that safe work should become a way of life at ASCO. To this end, each employee must strictly adhere to safety rules.
In addition, ASCO Chairman instructed heads of units participating in the meeting, as well as other responsible persons, to further strengthen control over compliance with safety rules.
