Repair of tanker "Julfa" completed
Tanker "Julfa", belonging to transportation fleet of "Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company" CJSC (ASCO) has been repaired.
As part of the repair carried out at the ship repair and construction yard "Zykh" underbody and above-water parts of the tanker were cleaned and painted. Propellers, smoke pipe on the main deck, valves of the auxiliary boilers, oil and air coolers of the main and auxiliary engines, steering and auxiliary devices, kingstons, anchor chains, pumps. In addition, necessary hull welding works were carried out on the vessel and its control systems were debugged.
The vessel was returned to operation after repair.
It should be noted that tanker "Julfa" was previously operated under the name "Shusha". The change was made taking into consideration the commissioning of a vessel of the same name (Aframax type tanker “Shusha”) outside the Caspian.
