Tanker "Zangezur" commissioned after overhaul
Tanker "Zangezur" operated by transportation fleet of “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company” (ASCO) underwent overhaul.
During repair works carried out at “Zykh” ship repair and construction yard main and auxiliary engines of the tanker, blade shaft was adjusted, some electrical equipment was replaced with new ones as well as old ones were repaired. Pipe laying works on deck and engine room were also completed.
The vessel is equipped with 2 (two) sets of modern “Inmarsat-C” type, 1 (one) set of “DS-85” type speedometer, 1 (one) set of “NAVTEX-700” type weather data receiver, 1 (one) set of stationary radio station UQD.
Vessels crew living quarters were also renovated.
Tanker's underwater and submersible areas, main deck and top structures, as well as anchor chains were sandblasted and painted by craftsmen.
After repairs, the tanker was commissioned.
For information, “Zangezur” tanker, with length of 149.9 meters and width of 17.3 meters, has carrying capacity of 13 thousand tons.
