"Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping" CJSC Supervisory Board meeting was held
The next meeting of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC (ASCO) Supervisory Board was held on May 14.
During the meeting presided by the Chairman of Supervisory Board, Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov, Supervisory Board members and Management Board of ASCO participation presentation of company’s external auditor on the results of audit procedures carried out in 2023 and presentation of the company's Management Board on the consolidated financial statements for the mentioned period were heard.
After extensive discussions, the consolidated financial statements were deemed acceptable by the Supervisory Board.
During the meeting, ASCO management report for 2023 and other issues related to the current activity of the company were discussed and relevant decisions were made.
Issues related to renewal of company fleet, determination of ASCO's future activity priorities based on the market situation, as well as decarbonization and “green growth” calls against the background of global climate changes were discussed during the meeting.
