ASCO held Safety Day
Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC Organized a Safety Day.
At the event, recorded and bypassing incidents of the second quarter of 2019, internal audit and monitoring issues were among discussion topics. Also, the participants were presented the reports on QHSE statistics on fleets and offices for the second quarter of 2019 as well as on recurring shortcomings and shared their opinions.
Moreover, the accidents recorded in the past quarter in the world shipping and reasons of their occurrence were also reviewed.
Alakbar Azizli, the head of the Department on Quality, Health, Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection (QHSE), delivered a speech at the meeting. He provided detailed information on the implemented work and the objectives for the second quarter of this year. At the same time, he spoke about security trainings conducted at ASCO and their importance. He also mentioned the reduction in the number of incidents due to enlightenment works. Mr.Azizli noted the important role of investigation and analysis of events in achieving positive results.
At the Safety Day, employees working in various structures of ASCO received special gifts for following all safety rules at work during second quarter of the year.
