Seafarers Visited the Alley of Honor and the Martyrs’ Lane
June 25 is a professional day of seafarers. The staff members of “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company” CJSC (ASCO) and State Maritime Agency visited the Alley of Honor. They commemorated the architect and founder of independent Azerbaijan, the national leader of our people – Heydar Aliyev, and laid wreaths and flowers in front of his monument.
The visitors also commemorated the prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva and laid flowers on her grave.
After, the staff members came to the Alley of Martyrs and paid tribute to heroes and seafarers who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. They laid wreath at the Eternal Flame.
