A postage stamp with the image of the ship-ferry "Zarifa Aliyev" was issued
In honor of the 100th birth anniversary of the outstanding ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, a postage stamp with the image of the ferry vessel "Zarifa Aliyeva" was issued.
A postage stamp prepared by «Azerpost» LLC with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport on the initiative of the «Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company» (ASCO) CJSC has been issued by the “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House” in Belarus.
The size of a well-printed postage stamp is 52x37 mm. The nominal value of the stamp is 1 manat.
The issue of this stamp is a clear example of the deep respect of sailors for the outstanding ophthalmologist, as well as a great contribution for true collectors at the time of increased interest in philately.
