ASCO is represented in Azerbaijan’s national pavilion at TransRussia-2019
TransRussia-2019 – the 24th International Exhibition for Transport and Logistics Services and Technologies is held in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation. For the first time, the national pavilion representing Azerbaijan’s transport and logistics capacity attends the exhibition to be held from 15 to 17 April. The stands of “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company” (ASCO), “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC and “Baku International Sea Trade Port” CJSC are located in the pavilion with a total space of 120 square meters.
Moreover, ACSC Logistics LLC, a subsidiary of ASCO, is also represented with a special stand at the International Exhibition for Transport and Logistics Services and Technologies – TransRussia-2019.
The stands of the organizations representing Azerbaijan caused special interest among visitors. They differ from others thanks to both the visual aspects and information content. Representatives of Azerbaijan gave detailed information to the visitors about the transit potential of the country, railway, maritime shipping, maritime transport, capabilities of Azerbaijani ports, international transport corridors and routes transiting Azerbaijan, capacity of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
The national pavilion of our country was also in the spotlight of the foreign media. Our representatives answered the questions of the journalist informing them about the projects have implemented in Azerbaijan to diversify the country economy, develop non-oil sector and expand transit potential. The journalists were also informed about the dedicated reforms carried out in the country to become a regional hub in international transportation.
For your information, more than 395 companies from 27 countries participated in the exhibition. These are the companies which provide transportation services using various types of transport, cargo handling and transportation services at ports and terminals. The number of visitors on the first day of the exhibition was more than 16 thousand people.
During the exhibition, representatives of Azerbaijan held bilateral meetings with the representatives of companies from around the world. They exchanged views on concrete issues of interest and reached preliminary agreement on establishing business relations.
