“Azerbaijan” crane vessel participates in works on “Absheron” project
The crane vessel "Azerbaijan", with the carrying capacity of 2500 tons of cargo, owned by Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC (ASCO) was involved in the operations of transportation of “Absheron Early Production Platform Complex” superstructures to the “Absheron” field and installation thereof on the bearing unit.
For this purpose, two of the three superstructures - the “AMO-2” and “AMO-1” modules were laden on the barges with the assistance of the crane vessel at the Baku Deep Water Jacket Factory named after Heydar Aliyev. Whereas, the AMO-3 module was loaded on the deck of "Azerbaijan" crane vessel.
The crane vessel “Azerbaijan” will be involved in the works pertaining to the installation of the superstructures on the bearing unit upon the structures are delivered to the “Absheron” field.
