ASCO employees were presented with honorary titles, orders, and medals
A presentation ceremony was held at the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC to inaugurate seafarers awarded with the honorary title of the "Honored Engineer" for the services in the development of marine transportation, third degree "Labor Order" and medals of "Taraggi" and "For the services in seafaring" as per the decrees of the President Ilham Aliyev executed on the occasion of the "Day of Seafarer".
Having made a speech at the ceremony, Rauf Valiyev - chairman of ASCO also congratulated the seafarers awarded with honorary titles, orders, and medals.
Speaking about the attention and care provided to seafarers in our country, the Chairman also noted that the sacrificial labour of marine transportation workers was very much appreciated during the years when the county was ruled by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. President Ilham Aliyev, who is successfully implementing the policy of the Great Leader, has always provided support and care to seafarers and made much of their work to increase the economic power of our independent Azerbaijan. It is evident from the decrees on the awarding of seafarers associated with the "Day of Seafarer" this year.
Rauf Valiyev also shared his views on the activities, achieved success, and future plans of ASCO.
Later, the honorary awards were presented to their holders.
Those who have been awarded expressed their deep appreciation for the head of our state and committed to justifying the confidence with higher labour achievements.
