Supervisory Board of ASCO held its following meeting

The following meeting of the Supervisory Board of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Closed Joint-Stock Company (ASCO) was held.

In the meeting attended by the members of the Supervisory Board and the management of ASCO, possible scenarios for the Company's Long-Term Strategy for 2022-2030, developed with the support of a prestigious global consulting firm, as well as improving the legal and corporate structure to reduce the consequences of potential risks in the Company were widely discussed.

At the meeting, ASCO’s Report on Sustainable Development for 2020-2021, reflecting the significant economic, environmental and social impacts of the company and audited by an international audit company, was approved by the Supervisory Board.

The meeting participiants also reviewed the Company's proposed budget indicators for 2023, as well as discussed the organization of the ASCO’s Internal Audit Department and other issues, and adopted relevant decisions.

 During the meeting, a decision was made on renewal of the composition of the Committees-Advisory bodies of the Supervisory Board.

Further discussions on other current issues of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC were held and relevant decisions were adopted during the meeting. 

The Supervisory Board of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Closed Joint-Stock Company was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 11, 2021.
