Representative of the ABS conducted a seminar at the Shipping Company
Seyfattin Tatli, manager of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for Turkey, Georgia and the Caspian region provided training for the executives of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) and the staff of “Caspian Marine Services”, alliance partner of ASCO.
Latest updates introduced by shipping companies around the world were presented to the seminar participants. Seyfattin Tatli said that global shipping companies have already launched the introduction of innovations in this sphere and these technological innovations will grow faster beginning from 2020. As mentioned by the representative of ABS, along with their multifunctional attributes, the vessels sailing in global waters will cause less damage to environment in the upcoming years.
Rauf Valiyev, the Chairman of ASCO thanked Seyfattin Tatli for sharing these interesting updates with Azerbaijani sailors. He further noted that the innovations introduced by global shipping companies have been closely followed by Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company as well.
The interactive seminar was also joined by the representatives of the Turkish office of ASCO via direct video translation.
