We note that if You’ve paid relevant compensation at the time of termination according to the agreement protocol with the company, ASCO reserves the right no to consider Your candidacy. To buy a ticket online, a customer shall enter the following link and insert the relevant information.
The 16-digit code, sent to the email address provided during a ticket purchase, shall be presented at the ticket office prior to departure. In return, a final ticket reflecting the vessel name should be obtained free of charge. To minimize waiting time at the Alat port, passengers are advised to contact the ticket office and proceed to the Alat port at the time recommended by the ticket office, which is close to the vessels's arrival time.
When a passenger purchases a ticket online and wishes to request a refund, they should submit a written request to return the ticket. This can be done by sending the PDF version of the electronic ticket, which was provided to them, along with their ID card to alatkassa@asco.az or through ASCO's 'Chat' section.
The restrictions imposed during the quarantine period at the land borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan are similarly enforced by the border service at the Alat port. For more detailed information, it is advisable to reach out to the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers and other relevant authorities.
The specific departure time of a vessel cannot be provided in advance, as it is contingent on cargo loading and weather conditions. Passengers who have notified the ticket office in advance about their intention to depart are contacted a few hours before the vessel's departure time and are requested to arrive at the Alat port.
Owners of animals are required to possess a veterinary certificate verifying the absence of rabies and infectious diseases for the animals being transported.
Passengers carrying animals with themselves and in cabins should hold them in designated containers or cages. The transported animals must not be left out of their containers or cages en route. In addition, animal owners should ensure that their animals do not mess up the vessel during a voyage, and if necessary, they should carry out appropriate cleaning themselves. In this context, owners of animals shoulder significant responsibility.
Ferries operate transportation on the Caspian Sea in the direction of the port of Kuryk in Kazakhstan and Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan.
Children up to 5 years old (including 5 years old) travel free of charge.
Passengers aged 6 to 12 years (inclusive), upon presentation of the appropriate confirmation document, are eligible for a 50% discount on the fare.
The voyage is free of charge for Heroes of the Soviet Union, National Heroes of Azerbaijan, and the families of martyrs, once a year in both directions, upon submission of the relevant documents.
The following individuals are eligible for a 50% discount on fares (once a year in both directions, with the presentation of relevant documents):
1) Participants in the Great Patriotic War, Afghanistan War and Karabakh War
2) Individuals with disabilities affected by the events of January 20 and the Chernobyl disasters
3) disabled people in the 1st and 2nd groups
In the event that a passenger desires to request a refund for the ticket, a full reimbursement can be obtained by approaching the ticket office with a valid identification document prior to the vessel's departure from the port.
If a passenger is unable to personally visit the ticket office due to a valid reason (such as illness, accident, etc.- by relevant evidencing document), he or she should inform the carrier before the vessel`s departure that they won't be able to embark on the journey (via SMS or email - alatkassa@asco.az). In this case, the carrier grants the passenger the option to either exchange the purchased ticket for the next available trip within 72 hours after the vessel's departure or receive a full refund of the ticket price.
A passenger is permitted to bring hand luggage weighing up to 100 kg. Hand luggage exceeding the specified weight limit will be subject to charges based on the freight rates applicable for deck cargo. In this case, it is also required to pack the cargo on a pallet.
